A friend gave me this link to his music playlist (http://cjdmuzikphyles.webs.com or was it his friend’s list? oh, whatever…) anyway, it was the 80s revisited. (oh shut up! yeah yeah… that’s how old i am).

It’s "Square rooms" now by Al Corlery. Where were you… or more aptly, WHO were you when that song broke out? Me… ? I can’t remember exactly who i was at that time, but i certainly remember what i wanted. I wanted to get the hell out of HS/college and start living my life! (now playing "Only in My Dreams" - Debbie Gibson) Now that I am out of school, what life are you talking about? jeez…

Yes! Now it’s "Borderline". My most favorite Madonna song. The arrangement is so 80s.  Madonna’s voice is squeaky pa; brings to mind her net glove and hair that was everywhere but in her hair net/bow.

"I wanna feel the heat the heat with somebody…"  Whitney before the drugs and the icky "The Bodyguard" and the much abused "I Will Always Love You". Hahaha. jeez… you would think there’s no other song that people can sing other than that song. Ayoko na ha! Charice Pempengco and Madonna Decena… iba namang kanta, please… (gag!)

"Forever Your Girl" - Paula Abdul. Now this one, I’m not so familiar with. Was this a very big hit in the 80s? "Cross My Heart" - Martika. Can’t say I know this one either. "Head to Toe" - Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam. This one I remember.
